If all data could be turned into algebra, there would instantly be a new common language for data: mathematics. \nOur team of mathematicians and engineers spent five years developing and proving a new branch of applied mathematics specifically designed to manage data. This new math, called the algebra of data (or data algebra), powers the Algebraix Technology Platform.\nWe are announcing at the Smart Data conference that for the first time, the Algebraix Library will be made available to help people learn, use, and improve data algebra.\n\nIt proves that data – all data – can be turned into mathematical objects. \nIt is directly derived from classic set theory. \nIt shows that mathematics is the way to unify data management across different data structures. \nIt dramatically improves computing performance, speed, and capacity. \nIt establishes an entirely new way to describe and integrate data with a rigor previously unavailable. \nIn this session, I’ll discuss how users can test-drive data algebra. It is particularly aimed at letting data scientists create applications that are standardized, provably correct, efficient, inclusive, and expressive. \nThis is a free, educational, experiential math library.
