A common first step when using semantic technologies in an enterprise is building a prototype. Unfortunately, an organization new to the area is not likely to have experts on hand in the relevant technologies, RDF, SPARQL, OWL, etc. providing a difficult hurdle from the outset.

Stardog Web aims to abstract away the details of semantic technologies and provide a framework that relies only on familiar Web technologies like HTML, CSS, and Javascript to provide the basis for quickly building web applications which utilize semantic technologies behind the scenes.

In this talk I'll briefly introduce:

  • The open source library Stardog Web
  • Talk about some of its design goals
  • Show a brief demo
